A bold richness and intense deep garnet color of the Syrah suspended by the elegance of the Grenache and married with the backbone of the Mourvèdre. A strong nose with the deep, rich, concentrated fruit of olallieberry spice and cassis. Despite the feel of firm sweet tannins, there is also a delicateness of raspberries and bright fresh strawberries. Hints of rhubarb and white pepper with touches of dark plum and pork belly are rounded out by characteristics of fig jam. The essence of rich loamy soil sprouting with Chanterelles ends a silky lingering pomegranate finish.
