The 2012 'Arborina' is a simply striking Barolo from Giovanni Corino which is extremely impressive from start to finish. It is layered with sweet dark cherries and strawberries followed by mint, spice and hints of dried floral which soar from the glass. On the palate displays a wonderful freshness with remarkable balance and beautiful finesse as it heads into the gorgeous finish. This gets better with each swirl of the glass and I expect it to continue to provide pleasure for years to come.
