As always, The Dodd is led by Tannat, however, there is a very clear thread of Bordeaux here brought by the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Petit Verdot. Dark as night in the glass, robust and deep with dark fruits of boysenberries, blackberries and some liquorice root. The wine possesses the firm tannic structure that we have come to expect from this wine. Hints of Chaparral and tobacco all neatly knit together with sweet toasty oak.
